Higher Ground Counseling is a relationship counseling service that provides support and guidance for couples experiencing relationship issues.

Higher Ground Counseling offers a range of services, including couples therapy, individual therapy, pre-marital counseling, and post-divorce counseling.  I also offer seminars and coaching for those wishing to create better communication in their marriage

For new clients, I am not accepting medical insurance. I do accept ComPsych, Triad, and Profile EAP (employee assistance program) referrals. HSA cards are welcome for payment. 

It's not uncommon for one partner to be hesitant about attending counseling. I encourage you to come in for a consultation on your own, and we can discuss ways to encourage your partner to attend counseling with you.

If requested, I am willing to share my perspective as a Christian or bring the faith background of the clients into the therapeutic experience. 

Sessions range from 45 to 75 minutes with most couples benefitting from a full 75 minute session.  

Intensive sessions range from 3 to 5 hours of therapy focused on specific issues. An intensive helps couples quickly identify places where they are "stuck" and attempt to create effective resolution quickly.
