Frequently Asked Questions

Higher Ground Counseling is an individual and relationship counseling service. I provide support and guidance for couples experiencing relationship issues. In addition to relationship services, I provide support for both men and women who are needing support working through issues in their daily life.

Higher Ground Counseling offers a range of services, including couples therapy, individual therapy, pre-marital counseling, and post-divorce counseling.  I also offer seminars and coaching for those wishing to create better communication in their marriage

For new clients, I am not accepting medical insurance. I do accept ComPsych, Triad, and Profile EAP (employee assistance program) referrals. HSA cards are welcome for payment. 

If requested, I am willing to share my perspective as a Christian or bring the faith background of the clients into the therapeutic experience. 

Intensive sessions range from 3 to 5 hours of therapy focused on specific issues. An intensive helps couples quickly identify places where they are "stuck" and attempt to create effective resolution quickly.
